Who we are
Best in Town is an appliance and air-conditioning repair business serving customers in Bahrain. Our short name, BTAC, is the name on our logo: a teal and indigo diamond mark with flowing air lines, a nod to the cooling and comfort that so much of our work is about.
We repair the appliances Bahrain households and small businesses depend on most: split, window and central air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and electric stoves. We also handle AC maintenance, gas refill and installation.
How we like to work
We think a repair should start with understanding the problem, not with a guess. That shapes how we approach every job.
- Listen firstWe ask what the appliance is doing, when it started and what has already been tried before suggesting anything.
- Find the causeA warm room, a leaking fridge or a washer that will not spin can each have several causes. We inspect to identify the actual fault rather than replacing parts and hoping.
- Explain in plain languageWe explain what we found and what the repair involves so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
- Test before finishingAfter a repair the appliance is run and checked to confirm the fault is resolved.
Safety is part of the job
Air conditioners, refrigerators and cookers contain live electrical parts, pressurised refrigerant and, in some homes, gas supplies. That is why our guides and service pages tell you which checks are safe at home and which are not. We never encourage anyone to open electrical covers, handle refrigerant or work on gas pipework themselves.
